Hello, and thank you for visiting. I am currently a grad student at South University Online working on my MS degree in Information Systems and Technology. It may be quite obvious, but I am fairly new in the Internet Marketing arena. In fact, before November of 2008, I had never even been on the Internet, as hard as that is to believe.

I first stumbled upon the idea of starting my own business in early 2009. My first thoughts on the possibilities were “Well, this shouldn’t be too hard, look at all these nice people on the Internet just wanting to help me out. You mean to tell me that if I send this nice man $97, he will make sure that in two weeks I will be making $17,252.89 a month??? What a deal! Where do I sent the $97? I hope I’m not too late!” Man, talk about a lamb going to slaughter! I was so naive and gullible that I caused quite a feeding frenzy among the sharks.

Well, after spending a good portion of that first year getting burned, lied to, and ripped off, I decided that if I was ever going to succeed at this Internet Marketing “thing”, I was going to have to learn to play the game. I started investigating and researching the various techniques employed in Internet Marketing, I soon discovered that the more I learned, the more I found there was to learn. In a nutshell, Internet marketing is simple, especially affiliate marketing. Get person A to purchase products or services from person B, and person B will give you money for your efforts. But, as is true in so many of life’s lessons, nutshell concepts are not enough to take you all the way to complete understanding. Complete understanding does not guarantee success, but lack of understanding sure give failure a helping hand. The devil is definitely in the details.

I have created this blog to share my experiences, victories and defeats, at affiliate marketing. I love to share what I have learned and I get satisfaction from helping others. Hopefully, you will be able to avoid some of the boneheaded mistakes that I have made and take advantage of some of the lessons I have learned. Welcome to my blog, hope you enjoy your visit.
